Suby is right this would be a much stronger image if you had turned down that spot. I do however like the makeup and I really like the over all feel you've given this. Question, do you do a lot of post work with Photoshop, I've looked at your web site and others that you blog on and it looked to my untrained eyes that you were more then happy with what you got out of the camera, was I wrong ?

This is a great portrait. Since there is an obvious light/shadow play I think the forehead is ok. The pic starts down below in the dark and grows towards the lighter side of life. It actually seems as if his head is floating.

The intense look, that is aided with the make-up adds character to this picture.

Administrative remarks: Thanks for dropping the watermark. The second subject a bit more difficult, but it would be really nice if you would reply to comments that co-bloggers make. It creates a form of conversation and exchange of ideas (what blogging is for).
